Frozen Lemonade Protein Shake
I follow Clean Simple Eats on Instagram, and they made a reel of a Protein Frozen Lemonade as a healthier substitute for the Chick-Fil-A delicious treat. I tried it frothed over ice myself and it was SO tasty!
Here is the recipe, but be sure to check out the Clean Simple Eats website too! Their protein powder is delicious and they are always adding new flavors. I don’t have any digestive issues with their brand and it dissolves nicely in nut milks.
8 oz Simply Beverages Light Lemonade
1 Tbs. coffee creamer of choice
1 lemon, juiced
1 serving CSE Simply Vanilla Protein Powder
Ice cubes
Topping:
2 Tbs. spray whipped cream ( I use Reddi Whip Almond milk whipped cream)
1. Add the lemonade, coffee creamer, lemon juice and protein powder to a cup. Mix with milk frother.
2. Pour the liquid over ice without adding the foam layer (unless you’re into that 😆).
3. Top with whipped cream. Enjoy!
*I tried both blending with ice in the blender or mixing with a frother and pouring over the ice. Pouring over the ice was the winner. 🙌🏻 I've also seen people try this with just Lemonade + Protein Powder, so if you're in a pinch - that will work just fine!
