Protein PSL

It’s pumpkin spice season and I wanted to offer you a more healthy choice when it comes to the beloved beverage. Clean Simple Eats has made a delicious Pumpkin Pie protein powder that I had to try as a morning brew. Here’s the recipe:

  • 1/2 cup fat-free milk

  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee, black

  • 1 serving CSE Pumpkin Pie Protein Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

  • Pumpkin pie spice, to taste
    Topping:

  • 2 Tbs. spray whipped cream


    1. Add milk to a microwave-safe mug. Heat in the microwave for 60-90 seconds. I have a milk steamer/frother so I will use that to warm my milk.

    2. Add the protein powder to the hot milk. Using a milk frother, mix until smooth.

    3. Add the vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and coffee to the mug; froth until well combined. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice if desired. Enjoy!
